The three price bands
We track the German market because it is the largest. These are real listing prices from Amazon.de, taken on 26 August 2026 across 437 listings. Prices move, so treat them as bands rather than quotes.

If your job is a guest WC or a basement shower in a private house, the entry and mid bands are where you should be looking. The professional band is not a better version of the same thing; it is equipment for a different application.
The six numbers worth comparing
Every listing shouts about watts. Watts are the least useful number on the page. These six decide whether the pump works in your house and whether you still have it in five years.
- Vertical lift, in metres. The one figure that makes a pump either suitable or useless. Measure your own before you read anyone's marketing. See Which macerator do I need, question three.
- Horizontal run, in metres. Always quoted separately, never achievable at the same time as full lift. Roughly ten metres of horizontal costs one metre of lift.
- Number and position of inlets. Three inlets on the wrong faces is worse than two on the right ones. For a wall-hung WC the toilet inlet must be on the side.
- Maximum water temperature. Only matters if a washing machine or dishwasher drains into it, and then it decides everything. 90 °C models exist; 75 °C models will not last on a hot-wash cycle.
- Noise, in decibels. Quoted by everyone, verified by nobody. Read it as a rough class: about 30 to 40 dB is a machine you can live next to, 45 to 70 dB is one you can hear through a wall.
- Whether spare parts exist. The blade, the carbon filter and the pressure switch are wear parts. A pump whose parts you cannot buy is disposable, whatever it cost. Ask before you buy, not after.
Where we sit, honestly
We sell in the same price band as the entry brands, not below them, and well under the incumbent. We are not the cheapest and we do not try to be: at the end of August 2026 the cheapest working macerator on Amazon.de was 79.90 euro and ours started at about 100.
What the difference buys, and these are the things we can actually stand behind:
- A two-year warranty from a Belgian company with an address and a telephone number that a person answers.
- Spare parts held in Europe: carbon filters, blades, pressure switches, non-return valves, inlet connectors.
- The complete manual on this site in four languages, free, including the troubleshooting table, so a problem does not automatically become a new pump.
- Ratings earned across hundreds of reviews rather than dozens. Our German listings run 4.2 to 4.6 with between 70 and 440 reviews each.
- A carbon filter and a service access panel included on the models where it matters, rather than as an upsell.
What we do not claim: that our pump is quieter than a particular competitor's, or that it lasts longer than theirs. We have not tested theirs, and neither has anyone quoting those claims at you.
Before you buy anything, from anyone
- Measure the vertical lift and the horizontal run. Write both down.
- Decide whether a toilet connects. If not, do not buy a macerator at all: a grey-water pump is cheaper, quieter and lasts longer.
- Check the inlet positions against your actual pan and wall.
- Check the temperature rating if a washing machine is involved.
- Search for the spare carbon filter for that model. If you cannot find one for sale, that tells you what the next five years look like.
- Read the one-star reviews, not the five-star ones. In this category they are almost all about lift height, smell or a blocked blade, and the first two are avoidable before you order.
